About Us
Washington state students deserve to be fully supported in their education. Currently, our state legislature is failing to adequately support children attending public schools. To address this, we have organized the Students' March on Olympia to urge our state legislature to both fully fund the McCleary decision and address specific student concerns. Smaller class sizes, more support for struggling students, improved access to modern technology, and a greater emphasis on practical skills over standardized tests are just a few of our most pressing concerns. We also want our teachers to be given the resources they need to meet our needs.
On March 26th, students will march around the lake and up the switchback to a rally at the steps of the Capitol to encourage the state legislature to properly address McCleary this session.
